Nancy Fagan is the founder of the Relationship Resolution Center in Santa Clara, CA. Her counseling practice specializes in relationship problems, divorce planning, and divorce. She holds a Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology with extensive training in divorce mediation and alternative dispute resolution.
Nancy is the former owner of the largest divorce mediation firm in San Diego. She sold it in 2015 to focus on helping people get the clarity they need to make the best decisions for their relationships.

It is a structured time apart in which each person commits to doing two things—1. Devote time toward personal growth and 2. Work toward how to fix a broken marriage.
Divorce Planning: A one-hour action-packed session gives you a plan of action and information to do before to telling your spouse you want a divorce. Creating a deliberate plan will put you in a stronger position post-divorce.

The Relationship Resolution Center in Santa Clara, CA offers both individual counseling and marriage counseling via online counseling for relationship problems. We provide the relationship help you need when you need it most. Below is a summary of the services we offer.
How do I get started with marriage counseling?
Step 1: Call (408-688-7022) or email to schedule your FREE 15-minute consultation. The purpose of this call is to learn more about you, answer your questions, assess which service best suits your needs, and to see if we’re a good fit.
Step 2: Payment is collected before your session.
Step 3: Schedule an Appointment. As soon as your payment is verified, we will be in touch with you to schedule an appointment.
Step 4: Meeting/Session. Counseling or coaching sessions take place in our office, or by phone or Zoom. If you prefer online counseling, WE will call you at the time of your appointment.
How does online counseling work?
The process is simple. After you schedule an appointment, WE will call you by phone, Skype, Zoom, or FaceTime at the designated time. Depending on your situation, we may ask you to answer questions before our call. Your responses will help get the most out of our time together by providing useful information.

Can I purchase services for a friend going through relationship problems?
Yes. We sell gift certificates in 1-hour increments for you to give to your friends or family when they are having relationship challenges and need help. After purchasing, you will receive an e-mail with instructions for how to redeem the gift certificate. To protect his or her privacy, we will wait for them to contact us. At that time, they will receive a free 15-minute consultation to get their questions answered.
What is individual counseling?
Individual counseling is a process in which a client works one-on-one with a trained mental health clinician. Sessions focus on helping a client with difficult issues they have not been able to resolve on their own.
Is online counseling effective?
Online therapy is just as effective for relationship issues as meeting with a therapist in person. Research studies show this platform for therapy is amazingly effective.
Are your therapists licensed?
Yes! All of our therapists are licensed and highly experienced Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT). We take our work seriously and attend ongoing training to keep up with the needs of individuals and couples experiencing relationship problems.
Are your mediators educated?
Yes! All of our mediators are highly trained as divorce mediators and well-acquainted with the needs of people thinking about divorce, divorcing, and post-divorce challenges (i.e., parenting plan mediation). All mediators have years of experience along with ongoing mediation training to keep up with the needs of our clients.
Do you accept insurance?
We do NOT accept medical insurance.
Do you have a sliding scale?
No.
What is your appointment cancellation policy?
We require 24-hour notice to cancel appointments. Otherwise, the full fee applies.
Can I save my marriage by myself? My spouse does not want help!
Yes! A lot of times all it takes is one person in the relationship to do the changing in order for the relationship to change.
Do you offer counseling for children going through divorce?
No. Working with children requires specialized training. We do, however, have materials and resources to help guild you and your children through the difficult divorce process. We also provide referrals to therapists in your areas.
